Terms of Service

1. What Repurp AI does

Repurp AI turns one piece of source content, a YouTube link, an uploaded video or audio file, or a pasted transcript, into other content formats: summaries, social posts, blog drafts, newsletters, and similar assets. You choose a persona and an output type, and we generate a draft you can edit, export, and publish.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Repurp AI.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put in. Uploading a file or pasting a transcript does not transfer any rights to us. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, send it to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy, and return generated drafts to you.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. The app asks, at import, whether a source is your own content or someone else's, and that answer changes how generated assets attribute it. Answering it accurately is your responsibility, not ours. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.

4. Generated output

Drafts are generated by a large language model. Three consequences worth stating plainly:

  • Output can be wrong. Models invent facts, misattribute quotes, and misread context. Review everything before you publish it.
  • Output is not unique to you. Similar inputs can produce similar drafts for other users.
  • You own your drafts, subject to your having the rights to the source content. We claim no ownership of what you generate.

You are responsible for anything you publish, whether or not this service drafted it.

5. Credits and plans

Generation is metered in credits. One generation spends one credit. Generating a batch of image candidates spends four, because it produces four candidates for you to choose from. A generation that fails refunds its credit. Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.

Some features that call paid third-party services, such as the AI editor and transcription, are additionally rate limited to keep the service available to everyone.

Paid plans are not yet available. While the service is free, we may change credit allowances with notice.

6. Publishing connections

You can connect WordPress, Mailchimp, Facebook Pages, and Instagram. When you do:

  • We store only the credentials or tokens needed to publish on your behalf. The full list is in our Privacy Policy.
  • WordPress and Mailchimp receive drafts. We never publish a post or send a campaign for you. You review and send it inside that platform.
  • Facebook and Instagram posts go live immediately, because neither of those APIs supports creating a draft. This is why the app asks you to confirm before posting to either.
  • You can disconnect any account at any time from your Brand Kit, which deletes its stored credentials.

Two things specific to Instagram. Instagram has no text-only post, so an Instagram post is not publishable until you add at least one image, and you can add up to five. Instagram accepts a narrow range of image shapes and formats, so we convert your images to a 1080 by 1080 JPEG when publishing, which crops anything that is not already square.

Your use of those platforms remains governed by their terms, not ours. You are responsible for following them, including their rules on automated posting and disclosure of AI-generated content.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Repurp AI to produce or distribute content that is unlawful, that harasses or defames someone, that impersonates a real person or organisation, or that infringes someone's copyright. Do not attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or access other users' data.

8. Availability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uptime, and we depend on third-party APIs that can fail or change without notice. We may modify or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost content, arising from your use of the service.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Repurp AI after that means you accept the revised terms.
